6 TIER OUTDOOR WATER FOUNTAIN
Warm Pottery Bowls on a Cool Stone Column
Six copper brown bowls set into a gray stone textured column, and the contrast between them is the whole design. The bowls read as fired pottery, warm and glazed. The column behind them reads as cut stone, cool and matte. Water steps from bowl to bowl down alternating sides, and warm light sits inside each one so the pottery glows from within after dark while the column stays dark.
That two material approach is unusual at this size. Most tall fountains commit to one look, either all stone or all pottery, which means they belong to one kind of garden. This one carries both, so warm terracotta pots and cool gray paving in the same space both find something to agree with.
It stands 53.5 inches on a 15.3 by 15.7 inch footprint, which is four and a half feet of height on barely more than a foot of floor. At 45 pounds two people can place it. It is also rated for indoor use, so a sunroom, an entryway, or a tall open room are real options rather than a stretch.
What Makes This Fountain Different
- Two materials in one piece, which is why it fits more gardens. A fountain that is all stone belongs in a stone garden. A fountain that is all terracotta belongs in a pot garden. This one has warm glazed bowls against a cool gray column, so it has a foot in both. If your outdoor space has accumulated a mix of materials over the years, which most do, a single material piece often ends up looking imported while this one finds something to sit with. That is a practical advantage rather than a styling claim.
- Light inside the bowls, not on the fountain. Warm LEDs sit within each pottery bowl, so what glows after dark is the vessels themselves while the column stays dark behind them. You see six floating pools of warm light stacked up rather than a lit object, which is a different effect from lighting aimed at a surface.
- Four and a half feet on a one foot footprint. The height reads across a courtyard while the base takes almost no floor. That combination is what lets it work beside a door or in a corner where a wide tiered fountain would not fit.
- Rated for indoors as well. At this height that is unusual. A sunroom, an entryway, or a tall open room all work, provided there is an outlet nearby and a floor that tolerates the occasional splash.
A stepped trickle rather than a rush. Water moves between six bowls in short falls on alternating sides, so the drops are small and arrive at slightly different intervals rather than in one rhythm. It reads as a calm close range sound that works beside seating and softens across a courtyard. It will not cover traffic. How loud it seems will still shift with the water level and the surrounding surfaces, which is why a fixed decibel number would tell you nothing useful about your own space.

Setup, Care, and Warranty
Setup and placement
Tool free. The bowls and column seat together, the pump sits underneath, fill it and plug it in. Two people make it easier at four and a half feet, mostly because of the height rather than the 45 pounds.
Set it level before filling. On a six tier cascade an out of plumb base sends water off one side of a bowl instead of into the next, and the error compounds all the way down.
Water level and daily care
Keep enough water in the base to cover the pump so it never runs dry. Six bowls spread water across a lot of surface, so evaporation runs faster than the base size suggests. Check every few days in summer.
Clear leaves off the bowl rims. Anything sitting on an edge diverts a whole tier and you will hear the change before you find it.
Looking after the finish
The warm bowl glaze and the stone texture are what carry the look, so wipe with a soft cloth and keep harsh liquid cleaners off. In hard water areas a pale film builds on the wet bowl rims and is easier to remove before it sets than after. Years of direct sun will lift some depth from any applied color, so afternoon shade keeps it looking new longer.
Winter storage
Before freezing weather, drain every bowl and the base completely, disconnect and store the pump, and dry the piece out. Water standing in a bowl through a freeze and thaw is what damages stacked fountains. At 45 pounds it can come indoors, which is straightforward given it is rated for indoor use anyway.
3-year warranty

Questions Before You Choose
Where does it look right?
Large patios, courtyards, a front porch flanking a door, or a garden corner that needs height. Because it carries both warm pottery and cool stone, it sits comfortably with terracotta containers, brick, gray paving, and mixed planting. It is less suited to a strictly minimal space where the two material contrast reads as busy.
Can it really go indoors?
Yes, it is rated for both. Indoors you need an outlet within reach, a floor that tolerates the occasional splash, and enough ceiling height and clear floor for four and a half feet to be seen properly. A sunroom or a tall entryway suits it better than a low ceilinged living room.
Is the light warm or cool?
Warm. It sits inside the pottery bowls and glows amber through the water, which matches the copper brown glaze rather than fighting it. If the rest of your outdoor lighting is cool white, expect a visible difference.
Is it safe around children and pets?
At four and a half feet and 45 pounds this is tall relative to its weight, so keep it off the main running route and away from where a child could pull on an upper bowl. Set it on a hard level surface, run the cord where it will not catch a foot, and do not let children or pets climb on the tiers. The recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
