OUTDOOR WATER WALL FOUNTAIN
Built for the Narrow Strip Nobody Knows What to Do With
Every yard has one. The strip between the patio and the fence. The dead space beside the back door. The four feet along a garden wall you walk past twice a day and have never used for anything. This fountain is 7.9 inches deep. That is thinner than most planters, and it is the whole reason this piece exists.
It stands 39.4 inches tall on a 15.7 inch base, so from a chair it reads at eye level rather than down by your feet. Water comes over the arch at the top and runs down two ribbed faces in continuous sheets before returning to the basin. After dark, warm light catches the water at the top and again where it pools at the bottom, so you get two bands of glow instead of a flood of light across the patio.
It needs something behind it. The back is flat and plain, built to sit against a wall, a fence, or a hedge. Put it in the open where people walk around it and the illusion breaks. Against a backdrop it looks like it was built into the yard.
What Makes This Water Wall Different
- It actually covers noise. This is the real reason to pick a water wall over a bowl fountain. Water leaves the top as a sheet and stays in contact with the ribbed face the whole way down, so what you hear is a steady wash rather than a drip or a splash. That kind of sound sits across a wide range and does a genuinely good job of softening traffic, a neighbor's air conditioner, or voices from the next yard. A small bubbler fountain cannot do this at any volume.
- 7.9 inches deep changes where you can put it. It fits between a walkway and a bed, along a fence, or beside a door without narrowing the path. Most floor fountains this tall need two feet of floor. This one needs eight inches.
- Two channels instead of one panel. The split down the middle keeps both sheets visible from the front and gives the water more edges to catch light on. A single flat face reads as a wet wall. This reads as moving water.
- Stone look without stone weight. The gray ribbed surface is molded Resin, so the whole fountain is 26.46 pounds. One person carries it into place and one person carries it inside before winter.
A wash rather than a splash. Two sheets running over ribbed faces produce a broad, even sound with no single drip to pick out, which is why it works for covering background noise instead of adding to it. It is easy to hear from a chair beside it and softens to a hush across the yard. Exactly how loud it seems will shift with the water level, how close the wall behind it is, and whether the surrounding surfaces are paving or planting, so a fixed decibel number would tell you nothing useful about your own patio.

Setup, Care, and Warranty
Setup and placement
Set it on a level, solid surface with a wall, fence, or hedge behind it. Fill the basin, plug it in, and check that it sits flat before you turn it on, because a sheet flow fountain out of level will run heavier on one side. One person can handle placement at 26.46 pounds.
Route the cord along the base of the wall rather than across the patio. Because it is rated for indoor use as well, an entryway, sunroom, or covered porch is fair game.
Water level and wind
The basin holds 1.5 gallons, which is not much for a fountain that spreads water across two full faces. More surface area means faster evaporation, so expect to top it up more often than you would a small bubbler, and check it every few days in heat.
Wind is the other thing to plan for. A sheet of water is easy to blow sideways off the face, which costs you water and wets whatever is next to it. On an exposed site, put it where a wall or planting breaks the wind, or turn it off when it is gusting.
Cleaning the ribbed faces
The fine horizontal ribbing is what makes the water look good, and it is also where mineral deposits show first. In hard water areas you will see a pale line building along the ridges. Wipe it down before it sets rather than after, and clean the pump intake when the flow starts running unevenly across the face.
Winter storage
Before freezing weather, drain the basin completely, disconnect and store the pump, and dry the channels. Do not leave water where it can freeze in the flow path. At 26.46 pounds this is a one person job, and the flat back means it stores against a garage wall without taking much floor.
3-year warranty

Questions Before You Choose
Where does it look right?
Against a fence at the end of a patio, beside a back door, along a garden wall visible from the kitchen, in a courtyard, or in an entry area. The gray stone texture and arched top sit comfortably next to paving stone and simple planting, and they work as well against an older stone wall as against new pavers. What it needs is a backdrop, not a particular style of garden.
Is it a centerpiece for a big lawn?
No. It is built to be seen from the front at close range, and the flat back gives the game away from any other angle. If you want something to hold the middle of an open yard and throw sound across it, choose a tiered fountain with a full silhouette instead.
How is it different from a bubbler or sphere fountain?
Different jobs. A sphere or bubbler moves a small amount of water and gives you a quiet trickle, which is what you want beside a window or a reading chair. This one moves water across two full faces and produces a broad wash you can use to cover other noise. If quiet is the goal, this is the wrong one. If you are trying to drown something out, this is the one.
Is it safe around children and pets?
The 7.9 inch depth keeps it out of the walking path, which helps. Set it against a wall so it cannot be pulled forward, keep the cord along the base of the wall rather than across open ground, and do not let children or pets climb on it. The recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
